I spent a month in South Africa in December and roadtripped with my family. There's a kind of pressure when you tell/show people about your home country, to do justice to its complexity. So I'd like to include a disclaimer that this is an extremely narrow depiction of South Africa. There is a lot to see and understand and experience, especially in the major cities, where I didn't spend much time. I predominantly photographed the natural landscape between the Western Cape and Free State, as well as some misty views in the Drakensberg and touristy snippets of Cape Town.
